I hope this space encourages curiosity, creativity, and growth for all who visit. I hope to branch out from writing books and start a Substack Newsletter soon — a place where I share life reflections and maybe a few favorite recipes, because a little inspiration is good for both the heart and the kitchen.

Originally from Oregon, I settled in Montana with my family in the early 1990s. Not many people can say their childhood years began on a Forest Service compound, but I’m one of the lucky few who can. That unique upbringing fostered my love of storytelling and continues to inspire the worlds and characters in my books.
